Share whatever you know so far. These details make it easier to discuss a suitable setup:

• Photos of the shoreline and the area where you want the dock.
• Your location, waterway type and approximate water depth.
• Seasonal water level changes, boat wakes and other exposure.
• How you plan to use the dock: boating, swimming, fishing or kayak access.
• Preferred dimensions, approximate budget and existing dock connections.
• Whether you need help planning winter removal or storage.
